No Vacation is Complete Without Good Restaurants.

The island has lots of restaurants but we have a favorite. Due to its long hours and friendly service, our favorite is The Lazy Flamingo! There are 2 on Sanibel, our favorite (the bar) is about a mile and a half down the road to Captiva. It is a horseshoe bar with some booths, 2 tvs and its tons of fun. They serve dinner until 9:30 at night allowing you all the sunset time on the beach. The other Lazy Flamingo is more restaurant like and is on Periwinkle near the causeway.
